Flick Crave is an online format for those who wish to express their fandom for filmmaking. We are small and relatively independent, but we have big dreams to become a constant home for film goers to visit and feel a cathartic release of nerdom for filmmaking.

A Brief History
Originally, I (Shelby Fielding) intended this creation to be a personal blog for me, myself , and I. I wanted to become an Ebert-like source for film goers and develop a sort of bond with general audiences. I became a self-published writer in the summer of 2017. Before that, I was a freelance writer for Movie Quotes & More. I spent my time from the late months of 2016 to the summer of 2017 learning how to write, believing that I could formulate a perfected writing style that would shine on my self-made blog. To no one's surprise, writing is not a simple fix or an art with an end, not that any art really has a perfected style.
Since 2017, I have dove into web design and film criticism from a point of open mindedness and constant humility. I hoped to learn from my inspirations and learn from their styles to inform my own. I believe I am gaining steam as a creator, but my thought was why should I relish in this success alone? So I decided to recreate Flick Crave and make it possible for others to join me on this venture of film appreciation. It's not normal, nor is it likely, but I am someone who loves to challenge and question the status quo of life. Who will challenge it with me?
